XI. National and II. International Veterinary Pathology Congress organized jointly by the Atatürk University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Pathology and Veterinary Pathology Association was completed successfully. First of all, we would like to thank Prof.Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, Rector of Atatürk University and Prof.Dr. Yavuz Selim Sağlam, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine for their support in organizing the congress.  We would also like to thank all the faculty members of Atatürk University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Pathology for their excellent organization and hospitality, especially Prof. Dr. Serkan Yıldırım. We left Erzurum with beautiful memories. 

XI. National and II. International Veterinary Pathology Congress consisted of two parts. In the first two-day part, scientific papers were presented and evaluated and ideas were exchanged. The following two-day part was in the form of a seminar and with the support of the “Davis-Thompson Foundation”, Prof. Dr. Fabio Del Piero from Louisiana State University in the United States of America made face-to-face presentations and Associate Professor Dr. Shannon Dehghanpir from the same university made online presentations. We would like to thank Prof. Dr. Fabio Del Piero and Associate Professor Dr. Shannon Dehghanpir for their scientific contributions to our congress, especially the Davis-Thompson Foundation. We would also like to thank the late Dr. David J. Prieur, who first came up with the idea of organizing this course in Turkey, and our retired professor Prof. Dr. M. Müfit Kahraman and Dr. Francisco Uzal for their support.

It was a good and productive congress in terms of scientific and organizational aspects. We would like to thank all our teachers and students who contributed and supported our profession by participating in our congress and wish to meet again in the next congress.
