MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION

You can apply for membership through our WEBSITE or E-Government Gateway. The documents required for membership application are given below:

– A petition stating that you want to become a member,

– Veterinary Pathology Association Information Form (filled and signed)

– Copy of the identity card

– 2 headshot photos

– Bank receipt showing that the Veterinary Pathology Association membership fee (50 TRY) and annual fee (100TL) has been paid (Veteriner Patoloji Derneği İş Bankası IBAN No: TR12 0006 4000 0014 2060 9369 18

MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY

There are two types of memberships, Full Member and Honorary Member.

Full Membership:

Those who have a license to exercise civil rights and have reached the age of 18 can become members of the association provided that they remain within the scope of the permanent and temporary deprivation or restriction of rights specified in articles 14 and 16 of law no. 2908. The board of directors of the Association must decide on the written applications for membership within thirty days at most in the form of acceptance to the membership or rejection of the request and announce the result to the applicant in writing. No one can be forced to become a member. In addition, all provisions regarding membership, resignation from membership, removal from membership, and member rights written in the relevant articles of the Law of the Associations numbered 2908 are reserved. Association members have equal rights. Each member has a voting right in the general assembly, the member must cast his/her vote in person. Faculty members, specialists, and those working in medical sciences can become full members of the Veterinary Pathology Association. Original membership annual fees are 100 (One Hundred)TRY  for the year 2022. This amount can be increased by the general assembly, taking into account economic conditions. Those who lack the right to form an association cannot become members of the association.

Honorary Membership:

The contributors giving financial and moral assistance to the association are given honorary membership by the decision of the General Assembly. Honorary members may also be foreign nationals and no annual dues are charged to them. They can donate if they wish. Honorary members can attend general assembly meetings. They can talk about the issues on the agenda, but they cannot participate in the voting.

RESIGNATION FROM MEMBERSHIP

No one can be forced to remain a member of the Association; each member has the right to leave the association provided that they report it in writing. As soon as the member’s resignation petition reaches the board of directors, the exit process is finalized.

REMOVAL FROM MEMBERSHIP

The memberships of those; while being the member of the association, who have lost the right to exercise their civil rights and the right to be a member of the association, or who have harmful works that do not comply with the purpose of the association, or who do not comply with the decisions are taken, or from whom it is decided to remove from membership due to their actions against the association’s charter shall expire. If one of the above-mentioned situations is determined, the membership registration shall be deleted by the board of directors of the association. Those who are removed from membership due to violations of the association’s charter have the right to object to the general assembly.
